A familiar brand name is a starting point, not a complete specification. Ask for the exact model number, storage, colour and intended destination. Regional variants can differ in connectivity, SIM configuration and warranty coverage.
Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi maintain regional product or support sites. Use manufacturer information to check the intended device, then obtain written confirmation of the supplied variant and warranty provider.

Compatibility belongs in the purchasing brief
A processor, motherboard and memory module must form a compatible platform. Socket support alone is not enough: check the chipset, firmware support and memory generation against manufacturer documentation.
For graphics cards, verify case clearance, power connectors and power supply capacity. Storage planning should account for interface support, usable capacity and endurance requirements.

Tokens, throughput and the cost of an AI workload
Input tokens describe the material sent to a model; output tokens describe what it generates. Token counts vary with language, content and the model’s tokenizer, so a fixed word-to-token rule is not a reliable billing estimate.
A lower unit rate does not automatically make a service a better fit. Evaluate the quality of the answer, response time, capacity limits and the amount of output needed to complete the task.
